Introduction
I am a young, dynamic lady seeking a job as a part-time babysitter/nanny/tutor. I am currently studying teaching at the University of Pretoria. I am very passionate about children and I enjoy working with children.
I have experience looking after young children and infants and I also worked at a summer camp called Sugar Bay over holidays.
What my experience has taught me is that children will absorb any information or positive input and that a great deal of effort has to go into taking care of children, you always have to be aware of any potential risks and create a safe environment for the children as well as provide them with educational opportunities.
I am capable of looking after infants and enjoy taking care of infants. As part of my training for being a counselor at the summer camp I underwent training in first aid, as well as first aid specifically aimed at children care.
Even though I am Christian, I do not impose any religion on children I look after, unless with consent from the parents.
Activities I enjoy doing with children include reading, playing outside, swimming (if they are able to), visiting a zoo or museum, going to the movies, playing boardgames, painting or drawing and other activities.
