Hi future Au pair!

Thank you for reading our Au Pair letter. A little bit about our family, we live in the state of Texas, currently living in Manor, Texas. Manor is a suburb that is only 20 minutes from Austin. Austin is known for its live music, great outdoors, and great BBQ.
The climate in Texas is very tropical. Our summers are from April-October, Fall is well somewhere there and January is our coldest month of the year. Sometimes during Thanksgiving and Christmas it is so hot people wear shorts! However, Texas is a wonderful place to live. It is very multicultural and diverse. You will find people of all ethnicities and nationalities here.
A little but about ourselves.

My name is Sana, my husband’s name is Michael, our daughter’s name is Savera, and we have a little one on the way in April 2025.

I am Pakistani, and my husband is half Jordanian and half Colombian. Both my husband and I grew up in Texas.

My husband and I are both very busy working professionals. I work for Biopharmaceuticals and my husband works in Finance. My husband also works full-time but he travels 3x a week every week for work.
I work full-time (50 hours a week) from home. We have a COVID baby so we have been home-bodies. Though we are introverted we love to spend a lot of time together, laughing, joking, cooking, watching TV, and going places together. Doing simple things together!
Our daughter is 4 years old! Savera loves to laugh, she is very sweet and loves to cuddle and hug. She is also strong willed so she knows what she wants and will make it known. Savera is very smart she knows her alphabets, numbers, shapes and loves to play with water and be outdooors. She is however, very shy, since she doesnt go to school and is a stay at home child. In 2025, we will be transitioning her to school slowly but surely.

We will be welcoming a new addition to our family in April 2025 (God Willing)! I need an Au Pair to mainly help with the new baby.

We adopted them from a rescue shelter when they were only 5 weeks old, and now they are almost 5 years old!
We like to live our lives in a healthy way would like someone who feels comfortable around the kitchen to cook for Savera and herself. We strongly believe a nutritious lifestyle is the best way to live. I love cooking, so I am also hoping we can cook one meal together at least once a week. We have a sweet tooth, we like to make healthy desserts.

We are looking for an Au pair to join our family. We are looking for someone who LOVES kids, is trustworthy, fun, loving, responsible and wants to have a great time with our family! We are looking for someone with lot of experience with babies, infants, toddlers, and preschool children. I follow milestone achievement very closely and hence someone who knows milestones and can share that goal with me. Additionally, since Savera is a stay at home child, there is a lot of play based learning involved in her daily routine.

Someone who is direct, takes initiative, who thinks ahead, mature, clean, good hearted, motherly, and responsible.
We thank you for leaving your home and comfort behind to help us with childcare. We are so grateful! Therefore, we would like someone who is family oriented. This is more than just a job to them. We would like someone who will spend time with us outside of work hours. We truly want to get to know you as a person and create lasting memories together!

We need an Au Pair that truly LOVES children, a self starter, self motivated, go getter, clean, punctual, and family oriented.

We need an Au Pair who has a lot of childcare experience including infant experience. Includes, feeding, burping, bathing, doing laundry for our daughter and the baby, doing milestone activities with the baby. The Au Pair's responsibilities includes caring for the baby

We would like an Au Pair that can follow milestone for the childs age and can create activities based upon milestones to keep the child engaged. That way your day will be planned and you won't be bored during the day. This also includes cleaning up after the child. Sometimes the whole house is a mess and that’s ok as long as we are having fun but we clean up afterwards.

The Au Pair must have driving experiencing, if you are a new driver, you must start driving classes immediately and be able to take the driving exam and pass the license test as this is a requirement for matching with a host family.

This is an example of what the Au Pair's schedule can look like :

Monday- Friday= 7:30-4:00/4:30 PM or 8:00-4:30 PM (agreed upon discussion)
Any hours unused will roll over to Saturday
