Thank you for taking the time to read my message. I know that choosing an au pair is a big decision for your family, and I want to give you a clear and honest picture of who I am, what I can offer, and why I would love to become part of your home.

My name is Empress Katherine Bustarde. I am 20 years old from Davao City, Philippines. I come from a close knit family where I grew up helping care for my younger cousins and nieces. I am currently studying Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which has taught me patience, compassion, responsibility, and how to stay calm under pressure.

I am a non smoker, I do not drink alcohol, and I have a clean driving record.

I would describe myself as warm, patient, responsible, cheerful, and adaptable. I am easy to get along with, and I adjust quickly to new environments and routines. I wake up early, complete my tasks without being reminded, and I take my responsibilities seriously. But I also know how to have fun. I love to laugh, play, and be silly with children. I believe that a good au pair is both a responsible caregiver and a playful big sister.

I have genuine experience caring for children of different ages. I have worked as a part-time babysitter for private families, looking after children aged 18 months, 5, and 7 years old at the same time. I have also cared for children aged 7, 9, and 15, as well as my own niece and nephews aged 4, 9, 6, and 11.

My tasks have included feeding, changing diapers, helping with homework, organizing play and educational activities, preparing for bed, and handling tantrums with patience and gentleness. I always make sure children feel safe, comfortable, and happy when they are with me.

I can help with morning routines, school drop offs and pickups, homework, after-school activities, bath time, and bedtime. I can prepare simple meals and snacks, and I am happy to learn your family's favorite recipes. I can do light housekeeping such as cleaning, tidying up, laundry, ironing, and washing dishes.

I have gymnastics experience, so I enjoy safely teaching children basic movement and physical activities. I also love arts and crafts, reading stories, playing outdoors, swimming, and playing badminton.

I am comfortable with pets, including cats and dogs. I am fully vaccinated and have no serious allergies or health conditions.

I want to become an au pair because I truly love being part of children's growth and development. Watching a child learn something new, overcome a small fear, or simply smile because they feel safe with me brings me real happiness. I also want to experience a new culture, meet new people, and build genuine connections. I am excited about learning a new language and experiencing daily life in another country.

I do not want to be just a tourist. I want to become part of a family. I want to share my Filipino culture with you, including our traditions, our food, and our warm way of welcoming others. In return, I want to learn your culture, your language, and your way of life.

I hope to find a kind and welcoming host family where I can feel at home. I want to be treated as part of the family, not just as a worker. I want to build a good relationship with both parents and children. I am open to locations all over the world, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Denmark, and Iceland.

Based on visa processing times from the Philippines, I can be available to start as an au pair in your country by August or September 2026. I am open to both short-term and long-term opportunities. I am happy to wait for the right family.
